TO EXPLAIN ITALY'S PAST: The Italian Navy, when "Ottoman Turkey was running around Africa, Asia and Europe," turned out to be Europe's strongest force aka they beat up Turkey (a strip about it can be found here: A Kid Who Can Do It If He Tries).
